Angela Boatright, LAc is a board certified Acupuncture Physician specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for all types of pain, headaches/migraines, digestive issues, chronic diseases, hormonal imbalances, fertility and stress relief. TCM includes Acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition and tui-na, a medical massage/body work.
Dr. Boatright graduated from the Florida College of Integrated Medicine in Orlando in 1998, after which she completed her internship at the Yuhua Di Ding Hospital acupuncture department in Yantai, China. She is board certified by the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine to treat hormonal disorders and infertility, including support during ART (assisted reproduction techniques), such as IVF.
In 1998 after returning from China, she started an acupuncture practice in Orlando. The following years, she joined the faculty of Florida College of Integrated Medicine teaching classes for the acupuncture department. Over the next 2 years, Angela was promoted to the position of Academic dean of Oriental Medicine at FCIM and remained in that position until 2004 when she and husband Jay relocated to Lakeland to focus on private practice. Since coming to Lakeland She and Jay have started a family with 2 wonderful daughters, Grace and Emma. Dr. Boatright also is head instructor for the kids karate program at the Kelly Recreation Complex.
Dr. Boatright is affiliating her successful acupuncture practice with Cheatwood Chiropractic Offices to create a holistic healing center to focus on wellness and preventative medicine for the whole family.
